Rural Contracting Queensland was born when we, Simon & Melissa Hird, decided we need a treechange from the 'big smoke' of the Gold Coast and bought our property at Dalveen, just South of Warwick.  After running a huge property maintence and services company, it was a natural progression for us to offer our expertise as rural contractors in the local area.

In 2019, our story got even more exciting when the opportunity arose for us to become an authorised container refund point for the Queensland Containers For Change Scheme.  Our involvement in the scheme is a labour of love and a we're excited to see it become a rallying point for our local community to make a real difference to our world.
